Bomet Upus Potato digger  Single row

Overview

The Bomet Upus is a one-row machine mounted on the three-point linkage and driven by the tractor power take-off shaft. The digger is fitted with dual category 1 and 2 lower pins. 

Features & Benefits

The machine is equipped with metal wheels which are adjustable for  ridge digging depth.  The well designed front share lifts the potatos which are  then passed to a sieving conveyor  belt which due to its design  shakes the soil off the potatoes and it falles through the conveyor bars, while the plant is moved to the back of the machine.  

The Conveyor belt is covered with rubber keep damage to a minimum 

At the back of the digger there is a properly profiled chute grate which directs the dug potatoes onto the ridge behind the digger. The chute grate directs the placement of dug potato to limit the damage by the tractor tires during the next pass.
